METAL LEGIONS

A Compilação em questão tem como principais objectivos divulgar quer a um nivel nacional quer ao nivel internacional, aquilo que se faz no underground do Metal Português. Deste modo, esta iniciativa pretende reunir todas as bandas que estejam interessadas em participar, numa série de compilações em CDR a serem distribuidas pela Dungeons Records.

Tal como já foi referido, esta iniciativa tem como objectivo a divulgação do Underground nacional e assim sendo, estes lançamentos serão exclusivamente distribuidos para editoras, revistas, zines, radios, e outros organismos que lidem com este estilo de música. É por este motivo, aliado á necessidade de uma distribuição e multiplicação fácil, que ao nivel de apresentação e médium escolhido a compilaçao será bastante simples: CDR com capas fotocopiadas (mas com qualidade) e uma folha de apresentação e contactos das bandas. A editora fará uma tiragem inicial de 150 cópias que irá distribuir pelas bandas e pelos já referidos organismos relacionados com o Metal.

Posteriormente, cada banda, se sentir necessidade, poderá fabricar mais cópias, não havendo por isso um limite total destas .
Convém aqui referir que a informação que vai ser integrada nos vários volumes da compilação será escrita em inglês, já que grande parte das cópias estará destinada a distribuição para o estrangeiro.
Quanto ás entidades organizadoras, a compilação terá indicações e contactos sobre a Dungeons Records e o Fórum Metal Underground.

O critério de selecção das bandas para integrar cada uma das edições prende-se com a rapidez com que entregam os temas. Assim, as primeiras bandas serão incluidas na primeira edição até o CDR ficar lotado. As seguintes serão remetidas para uma segunda edição, e por aí em diante. Desta forma, TODAS as bandas inscritas irão ser incluidas nesta iniciativa. Neste momento, o primeiro volume da compilação já foi lançado! O segundo já está a ser planeado.
